How it feels
Some people feel brief zings of sensitivity during or after. We use a lower-strength gel if you are prone to it.
Steps
We record your starting shade.
A scan for custom trays.
An in-chair session with the gel and a protective gum barrier.
Take-home trays for 10 to 14 evenings, then a shade check.
Aftercare
For 48 hours, go easy on coffee, red wine and curry. Sensitive toothpaste helps if teeth feel zingy.
Questions
Will it whiten my fillings?
No. Fillings and crowns keep their color, so we plan any replacements after whitening.
